In the first episode of the Sure Finance Podcast, David Clelland meets Clive Bowen, Services Manager at Meadow Springs Country and Leisure Park. Filmed in the park’s brand new bar, Jessy’s, Clive talks about how the park has grown since opening in 2022 and shares the story behind its transformation.

Formerly one of Europe’s leading shooting centres, Meadow Springs was reimagined into a holiday park following changes in legislation. Local owners Jonathan and Lisa Williams worked closely with planners to create a modern lodge and leisure destination in a beautiful Mid Wales setting.

Surrounded by trees and rolling hills, the park now offers single and twin lodge areas, along with seasonal and touring pitches. On-site facilities include Arthur’s Restaurant and Bar, popular with both locals and owners, and the newly opened Jessy’s sports bar, which is relaxed, dog friendly, and perfect for casual drinks and food.

Clive also shares exciting future plans, including a £3 million indoor pool and spa complex, due to begin construction in early 2026 and open in late 2027. The new spa will include a heated indoor pool, spa and treatment rooms, saunas, hot tubs, a gym, an outdoor spa area, and even a cryotherapy chamber!

With a friendly atmosphere and a great local reputation, Meadow Springs is fast becoming a favourite for lodge owners in the stunning Mid Wales.
