In the second episode of the Sure Finance Podcast, David Clelland meets Helen Scott, Director of Sales and Marketing at Aspire Park and Leisure Homes. Filmed inside one of their one-bedroom pods at their workshop in Porthmadog, North Wales, Helen talks through how Aspire has grown since launching in 2017, now delivering bespoke lodges, frequently to business owners, at the very top end of the market, with some builds exceeding £1 million.

Specialising in high-end, fully tailored homes, Aspire works with clients to create lodges that suit both their lifestyle and the plot they sit on. From layout and positioning through to features such as roof terraces, hot tubs and open-plan living spaces, each build is carefully considered from the outset.

All lodges are built to full residential specification, meaning they are designed for year-round use. Whether used as a holiday home or a main residence, they are built to be comfortable in all seasons, with a strong focus on quality materials and finish.
Helen explains that a lot of the work sits in the design stage. Customers can adapt existing layouts or create something entirely bespoke, working closely with the team to shape each detail. That side of the business is led by Technical Director Symeon Gittens, who brings over 20 years of experience in lodge design, helping to balance practical design with more modern ideas.

The manufacturing side reflects that same approach. It’s not mass production, with each lodge built by the same team from start to finish.

With a strong reputation for quality and a more personal approach to building, Aspire has positioned itself at the top end of the lodge market.
